What does shutter door service and maintenance include?
Shutter door service and maintenance starts with a scheduled, detailed inspection of the shutter to ensure continued safe and reliable operation. Thus reducing the risk of operator injury or disruption to delivery schedules. Our team of engineers typically complete a range of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and longevity of shutter doors. These services vary depending on the specific type of shutter door and its usage, but commonly include maintenance, repair or replacement of rollers, cables, slats, hinges, etc.
What is a LOLER inspection?
Lifting Operations an dLifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) is a set of regulations in the UK that governs the safe use of lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, lifting slings and other machinery used for lifting loads.
A LOLER inspection a legally required, scheduled, thorough examination by a competent person. MFS engineers receive in-depth training to meet dealer standards for the various manufactures, so we can undertake warranty work on their behalf.
During a LOLER inspection, our engineers conduct a detailed examination of the lifting equipment to assess its condition, functionality and safety features to ensure equipment remains fully complaint with regulations.
Following the inspection, we provide customers with a report detailing any defects, non-compliance issues, or recommendations for maintenance or repairs.
