Shifting gears: from engineer to business development

Shifting gears: from engineer to business development

We are proud to introduce the newest member of the Marshall Fleet Solutions sales team, Andrew MacKenzie.

Andrew began his career with a four-year refrigeration engineering apprenticeship, where he was among the first to join a specialised training programme that honed his technical knowledge and skills. Over the next six years as a transport refrigeration engineer, he developed a comprehensive understanding of both the refrigerated transport industry and the technology driving it forward.

After many years of hands-on work, Andrew developed a keen interest in sales largely due to his ongoing studies in business management. So when he saw a sales role advertised by MFS, he jumped at the opportunity to join an award-winning team full of experienced colleagues who are ready to help him transition into his new role. Andrew's technical knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset to our customers, allowing him to expertly guide them to the best solutions for their needs.

When asked about what he is most looking forward to in his new role at Marshall Fleet Solutions, Andrew shared, "I would say pushing myself, learning something new, meeting new people, building relationships, and of course, making my first sale! I'm looking forward to making myself proud and doing my colleagues proud.”

Andrew is from Culross, Scotland, made famous as the filming location for the TV series "Outlander." In his spare time, Andrew is a keen rugby player, playing as a winger. He also enjoys staying fit and active through gym workouts and running. Additionally, Andrew has a creative passion for photography, capturing the stunning landscapes of Scotland, often using his drone for majestic aerial shots.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Andrew from the entire Marshall family as he embarks on his new career phase.
