Today’s #ThrowbackThursday post comes courtesy of one of the Marshall Fleet Solutions service engineers, Wojciech Gorzycki.

Wojciech works for MFS in the Ipswich area of East Anglia and was called to attend to a quite unusual request recently, which combined the past with the present

A customer had a Thermo King SB11 that was at least 20 years old and had not run for over a year. It was Wojciech’s task to get the unit up and running and back on the road.

Here, Wojciech explains what he had to do, “The Thermo King unit was low on refrigerant, so I recovered what was left in system. I located the leak on the service port, rectified and charged with new refrigerant.

After checking over the unit as it was maybe at least 20 years old, I lubricated all the moving parts, checked the wiring and ran to test – the SB11 was all good to go!”

So an older TK unit was successfully back on the road working for its happy owner.

How can we help?
