We continue to be open for business, and here if you need us!
As our field-based staff are key workers helping to maintain the cold supply chain network in the UK, our approach and guidance for our field-based staff has remained consistent throughout the pandemic and since we introduced our control measures the initial peak of Covid-19 as we believe that we should support government advice and exceed this where practical by adopting a stronger social distancing approach to protect our staff, customers and others.
All our engineers have previously been provided with face coverings so that they can comply with local, or client specific, requirements while on site.
We have maintained home working where practical throughout the pandemic but following the recent announcement of a 3rd “lockdown” all our office-based staff where able to work from home will do so again, with immediate effect, as our existing approach allows for a rapid response. In doing so we are helping to reduce the spread of the virus between our staff, as well as the wider community, while continuing to support our engineers in maintaining the cold chain network.
As a fundamental link in the cold chain supply network in the UK, access to our premises must be maintained for our field-based teams to obtain parts, equipment, etc and we had already previously supplemented our existing controls by introducing the government track and trace to all our own premises, which we will maintain for the foreseeable future.
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is a rapidly changing situation from a public health perspective, and we are committed to keeping you informed and taking care of you as both valued MFS members of staff and customers, as well as any others who could be impacted by our operations.
Stay safe and well. Thank you for your continued support.
