As part of its growing 24/7 commercial service support operation Marshall Fleet Solutions has added a further 30 brand new service vans to its national fleet. The company now operates over 180 vehicles, covering service and installation work, providing an unrivalled level of commitment to its extensive customer base all over the UK.
The latest 30 Mercedes Sprinter MWB high roof panel vans to join the Marshall fleet have been fitted out in a mix of three different specifications, covering tail lift service, truck and trailer refrigeration and light commercial applications.
“Having experienced a significant growth in our business over the past few years we have consistently looked at increasing the number of service vehicles that we operate to ensure that our high levels of customer service are maintained,” said George Ralph, managing director at Marshall Fleet Solutions.
All 30 service vehicles will have a working life of four years, operating out of the 17 nationwide Marshall Fleet Solutions branch network.
“To ensure that our service vehicle fleet age is kept as low as possible we have a rolling programme of replacing between 30 and 40 service vehicles every year,” added George Ralph.
Integral to the success of the growing Marshall Fleet Solutions business, these service vans are used by their technicians to carry out work on customer’s vehicles, either at their premises or out on the road. Fully kitted out with a significant level of equipment, the new Mercedes Sprinters are designed to provide customers with a range of light commercial, truck and trailer or tail lift service and breakdown support services.
Fully self-contained, the vehicles represent a high-level of investment by Marshall Fleet Solutions in each vehicle and supplement the current network of 17 branches provided under the MFS umbrella. As George Ralph continues, “Over the years we have developed a nationwide structure to support our service operation and these vehicles play an invaluable role in enhancing the speed of response and quality of service that we can provide to our customers, wherever they are located.”
